TK Nciza and DJ Sbu Defraud Robbie Malinga’s Estate
On the 29th May 2023; Robbie Malinga’s widower Ann Milcah Malinga filed papers reporting TK Nciza and DJ Sbu who are the owners of TS Records for defrauding her late husband’s estate Robison Joshua Malinga well known as Robbie Malinga. Ann and Robbie were married for a decade.
Robbie Malinga who was signed to TS Records passed on the 25th December 2017. It is said Ann Malinga has been going back and forth with TK Nciza and DJ Sbu fighting for her late husband’s estate since then.
Robbie Malinga named TK Nciza and DJ Sbu as administrators or executors of his will. According to Ann Malinga they have failed to do so leaving her no choice but to approach the court. They would have wanted to fail as administrators of Robbie Malinga’s will because they wanted to pocket all the earnings. Ann Malinga has not received any money since the passing of her husband from either TS Records or Universal Music Africa. Ann Malinga has also approached Universal Music Africa regarding the payment of royalties for Robbie Malinga’s music and has been given a run around leading her to believe that Universal Music Africa and TS Records are working together to ensure she does receive what is due to her and her children.
Ann Malinga believes the royalties and other monies due to her have been for some reason duly paid to TK Nciza and DJ Sbu. This would also not be the first time DJ Sbu has defrauded an artist. Zahara fell victim to these crooks in 2011 when she signed and released her best selling album Loliwe through TS Records and they pocketed all her earnings leaving her with nothing and she turned to alcohol as a coping mechanism. It appears they have done it again by defrauding Robbie Malinga’s estate.
