Zodwa WaBantu vs Manaka Ranaka Boxing Match

Sunday night a couple of bored adults flocked to The Ridge Casino; Emalahleni to witness a boxing match or rather a circus between Zodwa WaBantu and Manaka ‘Dynamite’ Ranaka.

The circus ended in four rounds with each round being between three to five minutes. There was no winner, only because there was less to no boxing that took place but two old women chasing each other in circles for four rounds wasting everybody’s time. This circus left rather a bitter-sweet taste to fans of boxing, they felt this match was nothing but a mockery to the sport. Meanwhile others felt that the match was nothing short of entertainment and even referred to it as comedy boxing.

Ticket prices were from R100 up to R1000 for a VIP ticket. I can’t imagine any sane person who would’ve purchased a VIP ticket to watch this madness but you never know with people from Mpumalanga. It is also said there was no difference between the individuals who had VIP tickets and general tickets since everything was a mess. About eighty people attended this nonsense including Kagiso Modupe.
