2Faced, Two Faced The Trouble
A new girl duo is taking the industry by storm. Thuli Phongolo affectionally known as DJ Thuli P. has joined forces with unknown and struggling DJ, Sithabile Zungu known to her small Durban circle as Slenda Da Dancing DJ. This unexpected pair has formed an Amapiano DJ duo called 2Faced.
Their debut performance was at Scorpion Kings in Bloemfontein. The crowd was never ready for Thuli Phongolo’s less than mediocre dance moves meanwhile Slenda Da Dancing DJ hopped around the whole stage thinking she’s dancing to Gqom with her friends in Durban since she has always been DJ Tira’s dancer.

Funny enough I can see DJ Tira orchestrating this duo that nobody ordered or cared for. You would’ve thought DJ Thuli P. was doing super well as a solo DJ considering her history of dating one of the most prominent Amapiano DJs; DJ Maphorisa who also beat her ass to hell and back just the other day. This sudden rebrand comes as a result of this attack. I also remember DJ Thuli P. boasting earlier in the year that she gets about twenty-seven bookings per weekend. One can’t help but wonder why join forces with the unknown dancer if she was doing so well.
This coming weekend the duo is set to perform in several places around the country, from Johannesburg to North West on Saturday and at Envy in Durban on Sunday. With all of this happening why do I find myself over stressed by DJ Thuli P’s dance moves, they are very hlebi.
